This bathroom renovation focused on creating a modern, bright space with a timeless design. A key part of the transformation involved removing the existing bath and replacing it with a spacious walk-in shower featuring frameless glass, which ensures minimal maintenance and easy cleaning.
The tiling scheme combined neutral-toned matt stone tiles with larger polished marble-effect tiles by Clay & Rock in the shower. The mix of these tiles adds texture and clearly defines the shower area. The large marble tiles also minimize grout lines, making cleaning easier - which was one of our clients main focuses for their new bathroom.
Bright chrome brassware was added to complement the tile palette and adds a sleek, reflective finish throughout. The shower was fitted with a riser rail system, allowing for adjustable height, and built-in niches offer practical storage for toiletries. An additional niche with shelving was added beside the WC, taking advantage of a built-out wall housing the concealed cistern.
Lighting was a crucial aspect of the design. New spotlights were installed alongside ambient LED strip lighting in the shower niche and under the floating vanity.
The vanity, finished in matt charcoal, provides a striking contrast against the stone tiles. Above it, we installed a custom, full-width mirror enhances the sense of space, tying together the room’s clean, contemporary look with a functional and elegant finish.
Finally, to address long-standing issues with low water pressure, a pressure pump was installed in the airing cupboard, significantly improving functionality.
