This attic ensuite was transformed from a traditional bathroom with a bath into a spacious and practical shower room, making better use of the available space beneath the sloped ceilings.

A bespoke shower enclosure was designed and installed specifically to work with the unusual angles of the attic roof, creating a large and comfortable shower while maximising the available floor space.

One of the main challenges of the project was accommodating the sloped roof within the shower area. Our bespoke shower enclosure was designed and installed specifically for the space, with the glass following the changing ceiling lines to create a seamless and elegant finish. This allowed us to maximise the available showering space without compromising on the character of the room.

The shower area features large-format stone-effect tiles in soft neutral tones, creating a calm and timeless backdrop. Contemporary chrome brassware and a wall-mounted shower system complete the look, while the integrated shower shelf provides convenient storage for everyday essentials.

Storage was another important consideration within the ensuite. Rather than using off-the-shelf furniture, all of the cabinetry was designed and handcrafted by our in-house carpentry team. The bespoke units were made to fit precisely beneath the sloping walls, incorporating generous storage while maintaining clean lines throughout the room.

A built-in recessed shelving unit provides additional storage and display space, finished in a soft muted green that complements the neutral tones of the tiling. Carefully selected planting and soft furnishings add warmth and texture, helping to create a relaxed feel.

The vanity area combines a contemporary curved basin with bespoke cabinetry and a tiled worktop, while the large window brings plenty of natural light into the space. A round wall-mounted magnifying mirror adds a practical finishing touch.

Every element of this attic ensuite was carefully considered to make the most of the available space. From the bespoke shower enclosure and handcrafted furniture to the integrated storage and considered finishes, the result is a characterful and functional ensuite that feels both spacious and beautifully tailored to its surroundings.
